Abstract

The functioning of an individual's cognitive resources is analyzed within the system of environmental and situational factors. The role of divergence in the functioning of creative thinking is substantiated. The relationship between structural, functional, and structural-functional construction in the process of creative mental activity is examined.A characterization of the functioning of constructive structural-functional thinking is presented, understood as solving problems through the inclusion of an object in various systems of connections and relationships by means of mental operations – synthesis, analysis, abstraction, and generalization. The desired solution to the problem should take into account both the structural and functional properties of the component, not only in the subsystem relevant to the task but also in other subsystems. The result of the object's functioning is the variability of its properties and parameters. The designed object is also characterized by the uncertainty of its characteristics, as it changes during the process of functioning. In the course of creative mental activity, the subject transforms the surrounding world and, at the same time, undergoes transformation themselves. The object of transformation may require the implementation of appropriate design tools, while the transformation of the problem situation may either facilitate or hinder construction. The psychological mechanism of creativity is considered, including the stages of the creative process: identification of a contradiction, formulation of the problem condition, development of a solution concept, and materialization of the concept.Attention is focused on the role of the phenomenon of suprasituativity in the process of problem-solving. The concept of creative mental activity developed by V.O. Molyako is presented. The essence of the concept of “strategy” is revealed, and the characteristics of strategies of analogizing, combining, reconstructing, the universal strategy, and the strategy of spontaneous actions are provided. The main stages of the technology of implementing the CARUS system are examined. Methods of developing creative thinking under conditions of extremity and informational uncertainty are described. Criteria for the development of positive psychological stability of the individual are formulated. Finally, a model for the development of positive psychological stability of the individual is proposed.
