AGE DIMENSION OF POLITICAL LEADERSHIP IN THE CONTEXT OF SOCIAL-PSYCHOLOGICAL DYNAMICS OF PERSONALITY

Abstract

The article analyzes the age dimension of political leadership in the context of the socio-psychological dynamics of personality. It examines the influence of age on leadership style, motivation, strategic decision- making, communication, and management skills of political leaders. Different types of leaders – young, middle- aged, and senior – are studied regarding their effectiveness, adaptability, and social significance. Practical tools for developing political leaders, such as party systems, personnel reserves, state education, and continuous professional development, are highlighted. The age factor is considered a key determinant of socio-psychological characteristics, self-control, conflict management, trust-building, and authority. The importance of combining the energy and innovation of young leaders with the experience and strategic wisdom of senior leaders is emphasized to ensure effective governance and political stability. The findings have practical implications for predicting decision-making effectiveness, forming balanced teams, and enhancing leadership potential in public administration.
